AMBERS SWEET MILLION
2001 AQHA Bay Mare
Bloodlines include: Nu Bars Million, Nu Bars, Poco Tivio, Poco Bueno, Mr. Chant Bob
This mare is very quick and catty, with lots of muscle. Her dam won many pleasure and O-Mok-See titles, sometimes in the same day!! Her sire, Nu Bars Million, stands at the Paws Up Ranch.
Bred to Zips Chance to Dream for April 2009. "Sweetpea" delivered a red-bag foal March 29, 2009. The placenta detached and delivered with the foal. After trying our hardest, we couldn't revive the filly. The mare is doing fine but will be retired at 8 years old because of the chance of this happening again. We're so sorry for losing this tremendous broodmare. She will retire and live out her life at the family ranch.
On lease from: Newman's Quarter Horses
We have owned this mare since 2001. She was on the track as a three year old and has been a broodmare, producing some awesome dressage babies since then. This mare has the best disposition. Rachel has a natural extended trot that just floats across the ground. She is very quiet and all her foals are friendly the minute they hit the ground.
Below is Rachel's last colt. She is in good health and we want to keep her that way at her age. She will retire and live her life with us.
2004 Dun colt
Sire: SGT Poco Legend
Sold to Keagen Williams in North Pole, AK
We have owned this mare for since 1992. She has been Michele's show horse, winning many high point awards. Reining is our passion, but she shows consistently in western pleasure, english pleasure, hunter hack, barrels and poles. She is a very versatile mare, willing to please and a hard worker. We kept her 1995 black/white APHA gelding, as well as her 2003 chestnut colt by SGT Poco Legend. Due to foaling complications in the past, we have decided not to breed this mare. She will still be showing and giving riding lessons.
Lady was diagnosed with navicular disease in 2006. Since then she's also developed ringbone. She still has all the heart in the world.
Mia is our last foal from our young, awesome mare Docsu Dori that went barren at just 10 years old.
Mia developed arthritis in her hocks and fetlocks at a very early age and could not be ridden. Since it is not hereditary she was added as a broodmare in 2007.
We couldn't ask for a better first foal. Red dun filly.
Gave us another filly April 11, 2009. Not sure if she'll be black or dark grulla.
